Description
Fulnex Stock Health Checker scans your own WooCommerce catalogue, right inside your wp-admin dashboard, for the most common causes of inaccurate stock:
- Products marked “In stock” with a quantity of zero
- Products with stock available but marked “Out of stock”
- The same SKU accidentally used on more than one product
- Products that keep selling but whose listing hasn’t been touched in over 30 days — worth a manual double-check
Nothing leaves your site. The scan runs entirely against your own store’s product and order data using WooCommerce’s own APIs — no external service, no signup, no API keys, no data sent anywhere.
Why this matters
“Phantom stock” — the gap between what WooCommerce shows and what’s actually on the shelf — quietly costs stores refunds, cancelled orders, and lost sales from false “out of stock” pages. Most of it comes from manual counting errors, returns processed late, or stock sold on another channel that WooCommerce never hears about. This plugin surfaces the symptoms directly where you already work.
What this plugin does NOT do
It’s a read-only diagnostic. It does not change your stock levels, does not modify products, and does not require connecting anything external. If you want automatic multi-store stock sync, phone-guided picking, or a free public store audit that also checks your storefront the way a shopper sees it, those are part of the free Fulnex platform — entirely optional, and this plugin works fully standalone without it.

Installation
- Upload the plugin files to
/wp-content/plugins/fulnex-stock-health-checker, or install directly through the WordPress plugins screen. - Activate the plugin. You’ll be taken straight to the Stock Health page.
- Find it any time under WooCommerce Stock Health, or as a widget on your main Dashboard.

Does this plugin send my data anywhere?

No. The scan queries your own site’s database through WooCommerce’s standard APIs and displays the results in your admin — nothing is sent externally.

Does it change any of my products or stock levels?

No. It’s read-only. It flags products worth checking; you decide what (if anything) to change.

Do I need a Fulnex account to use this?

No. The Stock Health scanner works fully standalone. Fulnex links on the page are optional — for stores that want automatic multi-store sync, picking, and packing on top of the diagnostic.

How often does it scan?

Results are cached for 12 hours to avoid re-scanning on every page load. Use the “Re-scan now” button any time for a fresh result.

What if I have a very large catalogue?

The scan covers up to 2,000 products per run. Larger catalogues will see a note that the scan covered the first batch.
