Installation
- Upload the entire ‘webis-batch-expiration-tracking-for-woocommerce’ folder to the ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory
- Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress

Does this plugin support variable products?

Yes. Batch numbers and expiry dates can be tracked independently for each variation of a variable product.

What information can I track per batch?

You can track batch number, expiry date, batch date, and supplier for each product or variation.

Where can I view expiring products?

The Expiry Report dashboard (under Products Batch & Expiration by Webis) shows all products with expiry dates, color-coded by how soon they expire.

Can I search orders by batch number?

Yes. The plugin adds batch number search support to the WooCommerce Orders page, including HPOS (High-Performance Order Storage).

Can customers see the expiry date on the product page?

Yes. You can enable this in Settings, and optionally configure the date format and how many days in advance to show the notice.

Does this plugin work alongside the Pro version?

No. If the Pro version is active, the Free version will automatically deactivate itself to avoid conflicts.
