Fuudey – Restaurant Menu – Ordering – Reservations

Description

Upgrade your service in 4 minutes – trusted by 1,200+ happy restaurants across 100 countries, with 900+ reviews. Fuudey is the award-winning all-in-one digital menu & QR platform, by Atendant.

Fuudey turns your WordPress site into a complete restaurant ordering system in minutes – a beautiful digital menu, online ordering for dine-in, pickup and delivery, QR-code table ordering, table reservations, and a customer chat. You keep 100% of every order: no commissions, no per-order fees, and no coding.

Add one shortcode (or the Fuudey block) to any page and your customers can browse the menu, build their order, and check out – right on your own website.

Why restaurants choose Fuudey

  • Zero commission – keep all your revenue; no cut taken on any order
  • No setup headaches – one click creates your account and venue; you’re live in minutes
  • Your brand, your site – orders happen on your domain, not a third-party marketplace

Flexible placement

Each Fuudey button or embed is its own shortcode. Add as many as you like – a floating order button in your header, an inline menu embedded in a page, a full-page menu, a chat bubble, or a button that opens in a new tab. Point each one at the menu, a specific order type (dine-in, pickup, delivery), reservations, or your manager dashboard.

How it works

  1. Install & activate the plugin from your WordPress dashboard
  2. Click Start on the Fuudey setup page – your venue is created using your WordPress admin email (or connect an existing venue)
  3. Build your menu – add categories, items, prices and photos in the Fuudey dashboard
  4. Add it to your site – paste a shortcode (e.g. [ordering_12345]) on any page, or use the Fuudey block
  5. Start taking orders – customers order and pay without ever leaving your website

Requirements

  • WordPress 5.9 or higher
  • PHP 7.4 or higher

External services

This plugin connects your WordPress site to the Fuudey ordering platform (https://fuudey.com), operated by Atendant. Fuudey is the service that powers the menu display, online ordering, reservations, customer chat, and the order-management dashboard – the plugin acts as a bridge between your site and that platform. The platform’s API runs on Google Cloud (cloudfunctions.net).

What is sent, and when:

  • When you click Start on the plugin’s setup page (and only then): your WordPress admin email, site name, site URL and site logo are sent to the Fuudey API (Google Cloud, cloudfunctions.net) to create or link your Fuudey account and venue. Nothing is sent on install or activation, and nothing is sent if you instead connect an existing venue by entering its URL.
  • On page view: when a visitor opens a Fuudey button or embed, the menu and ordering interface is loaded from https://fuudey.com (in a dialog, an inline frame, or a new tab). If you add a chat-bubble button, a small script is loaded from https://fuudey.com to draw the bubble. Information a customer enters to place an order, reservation, or chat message (such as name, table/location, items, and payment selection) is sent to and stored by Fuudey.
  • Manager links open the Fuudey management dashboard hosted at https://fuudey.com.
