CepCerto API

Service: CepCerto Shipping API

Purpose: This is the core service that provides shipping quotes, label generation, package tracking, and account management.

When data is sent:
* When users calculate shipping costs on product pages or checkout
* When store admins generate shipping labels
* When tracking information is requested
* When checking account balance and financial statements
* During plugin activation (one-time registration)

Data transmitted to CepCerto:
* Plugin activation: Site URL, admin email, store name, server IP address
* Shipping quotes: Origin and destination postal codes, package dimensions (height, width, length), package weight, declared value
* Label generation: Complete sender information (name, tax ID, phone, email, address), recipient information (name, address, postal code), shipping method selected
* Account operations: Authentication token (automatically generated)
* Tracking: Package tracking codes

Note: This service requires an API token that is automatically generated when you activate the plugin. No personal data is collected without your explicit action of using the plugin features.

CepCerto CEP Lookup

Service: CepCerto CEP Lookup API

Purpose: Used to lookup and auto-complete address information based on Brazilian postal codes (CEP) in the plugin settings.

When data is sent:
* Only when store admins use the “Search CEP” feature in the sender data configuration tab
* This is an optional feature triggered by manual admin action

Data transmitted:
* Postal code (CEP) entered by the admin
* Authentication token for API access

Privacy & Data Collection

Important: This plugin does NOT track users or collect analytics. All external service connections are made only when:
1. A user actively requests a shipping quote
2. A store administrator actively uses admin features (label generation, balance check, etc.)
3. During initial plugin activation (one-time registration with CepCerto)

User Consent: By using the shipping calculator or placing orders, customers implicitly consent to their shipping-related data (postal code, package details) being sent to CepCerto for quote calculation. No personal identifying information is collected from customers during shipping calculation.

Store Owner Consent: By activating this plugin, store owners consent to register their installation with CepCerto and transmit shipping-related data for their customers’ quotes and their own label generation.

All data transmission uses secure HTTPS connections.
