Valsze Research Profiles for SINTA displays public author profile information from SINTA, including the profile header, scores, metrics, and publications.
This plugin is an unofficial tool from Valsze and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by SINTA or its operators.
It includes:
- Top-level admin menu: Research Profiles
- Dynamic Gutenberg block
- Elementor widget
- WordPress transient caching
- Frontend source tabs for Scopus, Garuda, RAMA, Researches, Community Services, IPRs, and Books
This plugin reads public SINTA profile pages because SINTA does not currently provide a public API for this use case. If SINTA changes its page markup, the parser may need an update.
External services
This plugin connects to the public SINTA (Science and Technology Index) website to fetch public author profile, score, metric, and publication data. This connection is required for the plugin to display SINTA profile information in the block, Elementor widget, and frontend output.
The plugin sends the configured numeric SINTA Author ID to https://sinta.kemdiktisaintek.go.id/authors/profile/ when a profile is displayed and the requested profile/source is not already available in the WordPress transient cache. When visitors switch publication source tabs, the selected source name, such as Scopus, Garuda, RAMA, Researches, Community Services, IPRs, or Books, may also be sent as a request parameter. Like any normal HTTP request, the site server’s IP address and user agent may be visible to the SINTA service.
This service is provided by SINTA / Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi, Sains, dan Teknologi Republik Indonesia. Service website: https://sinta.kemdiktisaintek.go.id/. I could not identify separate public terms of service or privacy policy pages for this specific SINTA service; if SINTA publishes dedicated terms or privacy URLs, they should be reviewed directly by site administrators before using this plugin.

Installation
- Upload the
valsze-research-profiles-for-sintafolder to/wp-content/plugins/. - Activate the plugin.
- Open the Research Profiles menu in the WordPress admin sidebar.
- Enter the numeric SINTA Author ID.
- Insert the “Research Profile for SINTA” block or Elementor widget.
