External Services
This plugin connects to Google Fonts to load the font family you choose for the editor. CodeMirror themes and the list of available fonts are bundled with the plugin and are not loaded remotely.
Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com)
- What it is used for: Loading the stylesheet and font files of the font family selected in Settings > Editor Tweaks for CodeMirror.
- When data is sent: Only when a font family is selected. The request is made on admin pages with a code editor (theme and plugin file editors, the Customizer, the post editor) and on the plugin settings page when previewing a font. No request is made when the font family is set to “Default (inherit)”.
- What data is sent: The font family name and weights. As with any web request, the visitor’s browser also sends its IP address and user agent to Google. No account is required.
