The plugin connects to the CookieGuard service for cookie scanning. All data transmission is initiated by the site administrator through explicit actions in the admin dashboard.

CookieGuard API (api.cookieguard.app)
This plugin transmits data to the CookieGuard service in the following cases:
- When you run a cookie scan from the admin dashboard: your site URL is sent to initiate a remote scan that detects cookies set by your site
All API communication is initiated by the site administrator through explicit actions in the WordPress admin dashboard. No data is sent automatically on frontend page loads or without administrator action.
Data sent to CookieGuard: site URL.
No visitor data, WordPress user data, passwords, or personally identifiable information is transmitted by this plugin.

Installation
- Upload the plugin files to
/wp-content/plugins/cookieguard-wp - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress
- Go to CookieGuard in the admin menu
- Customize your banner in the Banner Editor
- Run a cookie scan to detect cookies on your site
