  1. Upload replace-rss-feed-link-1.0.0.php to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
  3. Place a custom field called 'url' in the posts where you'd like an external link to replace the link to the post.
  4. Access your RSS feed with feed=rss (not rss2) for best results when syndicating with services like ping.fm or Mailchimp.
