Is this correct?<\/p>\n<p>I cannot find a definitive answer anywhere. It looks like WordPress supported this from about 4.5 if WordPress is using ImageMagick.<\/p>\n<p>I do understand that an amount of processing goes on and this may result in the conversion failing, but it should work on a reasonably sized gif on a reasonable server. Is this correct?<\/p>\n<p>I have been trying to find a plugin that will just report whether WordPress is using ImageMagick or GD, I cannot find one, does anyone know of one?<\/p>\n<p>Having said all this, I cannot get WordPress to resize and preserve the animation of an animated gif.<\/p>\n<p>Any help greatly appreciated.
