I’m using Postie v 1.9.4 and have updated to WordPress 4.8.2<\/p>\n
I’ve used this plugin for over two years with no issues but suddenly it ceased to function three days ago. I haven’t added or activated any new plugins recently.<\/p>\n
I’m getting the error: Warning: the Default Poster is not a valid WordPress login.<\/p>\n
So three issues:<\/p>\n
1. On the User tab the default poster is set to my user account but the error message claims it is not valid. My account is the main admin account.<\/p>\n
2. The default poster dropdown list doesn’t display and of the other users (mostly editors)<\/p>\n
3. Settings won’t save. I’ve entered all the settings for the email server but when I click on the Save button, all the settings disappear. <\/p>\n
I’ve tried deactivating all other plugins but the error message persists. <\/p>\n
It seems that for some reason the plugin is failing to find the list of registered users.<\/p>\n
