{"id":8978807,"date":"2017-03-31T13:58:47","date_gmt":"2017-03-31T13:58:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/topic\/feed-error-time-out\/"},"modified":"2017-03-31T13:58:47","modified_gmt":"2017-03-31T13:58:47","slug":"feed-error-time-out","status":"publish","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/topic\/feed-error-time-out\/","title":{"rendered":"Feed Error: time out"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello,<\/p>\n<p>I installed this plugin and wanted to add a feed from another site (https:\/\/gut.sparkasse-koelnbonn.de\/?em_ess=1), but I always get an time out error message\u2026 <\/p>\n<p>I already checked if the site with the feed has ESS Feed installed.<br \/>\nI checked the time out ($timeout_sec = 20) in the ESS_Import.php file and even when I change this nothing happens. <\/p>\n<p>I also tried some of the example feeds from the documentation site (ex. http:\/\/essfeed.org\/feeds\/tv_show.ess)\u2026but still I always get the Error Message \u201eThe ESS Feed request timed out with URL\u201c.<\/p>\n<p>Is there something else I could try or maybe I do something wrong?
