When examining the problem I noticed the plugin tries to load a resource from a wrong path resulting in a Javascript error. This is the path the plugin is trying to load:<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/mydomain.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/simple-pull-quote\/tinymce\/langs\/en.js?wp-mce-4403-20160901<\/p>\n<p>Disabling the plugin fixes the problem.
