I just migrated a pretty large news website to wordpress…. now all of my old links are dead and simply go to a search page. Does anyone know if it’s possible to do a htaccess redirect to show the correct content….

for example, I would need to automatically change all URLs that look like this…..

http://profootballspot.com/nfl/news/new-england-patriots/watch-vince-wilfork-claims-im-tom-bradys-tom-brady-r3356/

to become….

http://profootballspot.com/watch-vince-wilfork-claims-im-tom-bradys-tom-brady/

__________

So it’s removing all of the little subfolders content was in, and getting rid of the content after the very last –

……

please someone tell me this is possible

["post-8729962","topic","type-topic","status-publish","hentry
["GET
