This is by far the best backup\/restore tool for WordPress of all I’ve tried so far. I started to use Akeeba backup long time ago, when I was a Joomla newbie and had to solve the tricky (for beginners) problem how to move my new website from my local PC to a live server. Accustomed to the use of this reliable and easy-to-use tool, I always wondered why there was no WordPress Plugin with similar qualities. I’m glad that Nicholas now filled this gap. At the time of writing this comment, I just have used the “Akeeba for WordPress” plugin version 1.0.b4 along with the latest “Akeeba Kickstart” extraction tool to backup a live 1GB WordPress website and to move\/install that backup on my local PC. It did work on the first attempt without any hiccups.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-7856913","topic","type-topic","status-closed","hentry"],"jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topic\/7856913","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topic"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topic\/7856913\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=7856913"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
