Latest WordPress version.<\/p>\n<p>I noticed that for some stuff I would change in my child theme&#8217;s style.css, there would be no visible changes on the site. I for example wanted to remove the word-break in the sidebar widgets.<br \/>\nSo I added following code:<\/p>\n<pre><code>.widget-area .widget {\n\tword-wrap: normal;\n}<\/code><\/pre>\n<p>\u2026 to basically <em>override<\/em> the word-wrap in the original twenty twelve theme. It did nothing, so I tried this:<\/p>\n<pre><code>.widget-area .widget {\n   \tword-break: keep-all;\n}<\/code><\/pre>\n<p>\u2026 which did nothing either, so I put this:<\/p>\n<pre><code>.widget-area .widget {\n\tword-wrap: normal;\n   \tword-break: keep-all;\n}<\/code><\/pre>\n<p>But I was out of luck. The words in the widgets were still broken.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t understand why I don&#8217;t see any changes?
