I went ahead and updated to 3.0 this morning, enabled the Google Static Maps and Google Maps Embed APIs, and yet am still having some trouble with the plugin. I have a map embedded with a widget on the sidebar of my website. Usually, when you click on the map, it opens a pop-up window displaying a larger version of the map. However, at this point I’m basically just seeing the following message:<\/p>\n
“The Google Maps API server rejected your request. Invalid request. Missing the ‘attribution_source’ parameter.”<\/p>\n
So, I restored the plugin to its previous version for the time being and setup a staging site to do some testing on.
