{"id":6992720,"date":"2016-01-27T06:33:15","date_gmt":"2016-01-27T06:33:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/topic\/child-theme-182\/"},"modified":"2016-08-31T00:56:24","modified_gmt":"2016-08-31T00:56:24","slug":"child-theme-182","status":"publish","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/topic\/child-theme-182\/","title":{"rendered":"child theme"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve attempted to create a child theme to do some basic customisations to this theme.<br \/>\nNo problems overwriting\/changing elements such as footer.php to suit.<br \/>\nHowever something appears strange in terms of the .css and no matter what I do &#8211; including large-scale modifications to<\/p>\n<p>brawny-child\/sytle.css<br \/>\nor<br \/>\nbrawny-child\/css\/lightpurple.css<\/p>\n<p>I thought it worth checking if the theme is designed or is okay to support a child theme&#8217;s css modifications.
