{"id":6915188,"date":"2016-01-07T07:42:55","date_gmt":"2016-01-07T07:42:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/topic\/database-or-server-issues\/"},"modified":"2016-08-31T00:08:21","modified_gmt":"2016-08-31T00:08:21","slug":"database-or-server-issues","status":"publish","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/topic\/database-or-server-issues\/","title":{"rendered":"database or server issues?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello!<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m hoping i can get an answer here &#8211; it has been 3 days and my webhost (hostgator) has still not got back to me!<\/p>\n<p>I have two websites: sofiehughesphotography.com and soulsistertherapies.co.uk<\/p>\n<p>my photography website was hacked just before christmas. I had it professionally cleaned, but it would appear that the hack deleted everything.<\/p>\n<p>If you go to the URL it is just a blank page.<\/p>\n<p>I then noticed that my soulsister website was the same.<\/p>\n<p>I did a fresh install of wordpress on both, and in the wp-config files linked them back to their original databases as the databases all seemed to contain their original content still.<\/p>\n<p>This has worked fine for soul sister website &#8211; other than a few theme issues that i need to go in and sort out.<\/p>\n<p>But my photography website is still not working.  I uploaded an updated version of the theme i am using &#8211; still nothing.<br \/>\nI deleted the theme altogether and activate the twenty15 wordpress default theme.<\/p>\n<p>still nothing.<\/p>\n<p>with hostgator not getting back to me, i&#8217;m just trying to work out what is going on.
