I have installed DotNetNuke using WPI before. Prior to installing DNN, MS SQL Server was already installed, I enabled the &#8216;sa&#8217; account and I changed the server authentication mode to mixed. In the Web Platform Installer, I  specify within the installer &#8220;Enable remote database support&#8221; and the remote database server name so when I install DNN, I select <strong>SQL Server (remote: server)<\/strong> as the type of database and the <strong>default database admin account shows as &#8216;sa&#8217;<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>Now when I try to install WP, I can still select SQL Server (remote: server) as the type of database but the default database admin account always shows as &#8216;root&#8217;.
