Overnight, my hosting service automatically applied 4.2.2 to several sites… all of which resulted in the complete loss of the following plugins:
\n– EventCalendar Pro (won’t render Google maps related to Events)
\n– Revolution Slider (though the space for the slider is allocated on the pages, no images are rendered, at all).
\n– Testimonials Slider (the space on the page where the testimonials would appear doesn’t even get allocated).<\/p>\n
I haven’t had enough time to sweep through the site to test all functions, but I wanted to post these to see if it might provide clues as to what may have been changed in this update. 2 of the 3 are related to images, a different 2 are related to animation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-6104292","topic","type-topic","status-closed","hentry"],"jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topic\/6104292","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topic"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topic\/6104292\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=6104292"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
