I then will block the IP address from my host’s cPanel interface. My question is, is it normal to have people attempting to login to the \/wp-admin page constantly? I get maybe two or three, sometimes more, every other day. I can see they’re trying to use the username of admin, which does not exist. I have seen a few different usernames used, but of course none of them exist. Is there anything I can do to prevent people from trying to login to the website?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-6029193","topic","type-topic","status-closed","hentry"],"jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topic\/6029193","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topic"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topic\/6029193\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=6029193"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
