{"id":6023522,"date":"2015-04-16T20:38:07","date_gmt":"2015-04-16T20:38:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/topic\/parse-error-unexpected-string\/"},"modified":"2016-08-24T14:51:06","modified_gmt":"2016-08-24T14:51:06","slug":"parse-error-unexpected-string","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/topic\/parse-error-unexpected-string\/","title":{"rendered":"Parse Error &#8211; Unexpected String"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I just installed this plugin and it won&#8217;t activate because there is a parse error on line 29 in the autostock.php file. <\/p>\n<p>Lines 29 &amp; 30 are as follows:<\/p>\n<p>namespace Autostock;<br \/>\nuse Autostock;<\/p>\n<p>When I comment out these two lines, the plugin activates but fails to show in the main sidebar menu in WordPress. <\/p>\n<p>I know some about PHP, but I don&#8217;t know enough about using &#8220;namespace&#8221;.
