Registered custom post type &#8216;book&#8217;<br \/>\n2. Registered custom taxonomy &#8216;series&#8217; for cpt &#8216;book&#8217;<br \/>\n3. Created template &#8216;taxonomy-series.php&#8217;<br \/>\n4. Added some taxonomy terms and dummy books<br \/>\n5. Called the taxonomy archive page in browser: http:\/\/localhost\/series\/series-one<br \/>\n6. Everything works as expected, except in the $wp_query object I can see that it queries the database for &#8216;post&#8217;, &#8216;page&#8217; and &#8216;attachment&#8217; instead for the post type &#8216;book&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>What is happening here??
