I have downloaded and installed a localisation file in my preferred language. After installation, it translated everything within the \u201cadministration section\u201d but nothing visible for the visitor \u2013 e.g. search, categories, leave a comment. etc.<\/p>\n
I have opened the relevant file in an editor but the fields I\u2019m looking for seems to be correctly translated. <\/p>\n
Could it be that the file I downloaded was for wordpress 2.1 when I\u2019m running 2.2? Does it really make a difference?<\/p>\n
Is there any way for me to translate these headings manually by just eding the PHP files? Which php file \/ files I\u2019m I looking for?<\/p>\n
I\u2019m also interested in translating the name of the index page \u2013 which is called \u201cblog\u201d to “start” or something similiar.
