{"id":5448275,"date":"2014-11-04T08:43:43","date_gmt":"2014-11-04T08:43:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/topic\/undefined-variable-13\/"},"modified":"2016-08-22T04:06:06","modified_gmt":"2016-08-22T04:06:06","slug":"undefined-variable-13","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/topic\/undefined-variable-13\/","title":{"rendered":"Undefined variable"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I am getting a lot of PHP Notice&#8217;s from the tracking-code.php file.<\/p>\n<p>It appears that the problem is with the $homeurl variable.<\/p>\n<p>From v2.3.1 the variable was set as part of an if&#8230;else conditional.  In v2.4, the else statement has been removed so that if <code>get_option(&#039;set_domain&#039;)==&#039;on&#039;<\/code> resolves to false, the following lines call an unset $homeurl throwing an error.<\/p>\n<p>Possibly related, it appears that in v2.4 this variable is not used at all.
