I have been using the following code to get WordPress to crop my image they way I like it (top, centered).<\/p>\n<p>In functions.php of the child theme:<\/p>\n<pre><code>&lt;?php\nadd_image_size( &#039;featured-sdk&#039;, 1280, 400, array( &#039;center&#039;, &#039;top&#039; ) ); \/\/ Hard crop center top<\/code><\/pre>\n<p>For some reason WordPress now seems to ignore the top command because images I am adding today are no longer cropping like they were.
