I&#8217;ve figured stuff out and ended up very pleased with myself.<\/p>\n<p>I have encountered a problem I haven&#8217;t been able to fix. I want to remove the date\/author stamp and category from the featured post on the custom home page. I found a piece of code to add in a different support forum, but that hasn&#8217;t worked for me. <\/p>\n<p>Essentially, I want Featured post (previously the 404 Error) on the homepage to just look like static content to a casual viewer.
