In the Dashboard\/admin, if I go to posts > categories, enter the required information and click “Add new category” nothing happens.<\/p>\n
Firefox shows this Javascript error:
\nError: XML or text declaration not at start of entity
\nSource File: http:\/\/www.mysite.com\/wp-admin\/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=category
\nLine: 2, Column: 1<\/p>\n
If I try deleting a category\/taxonomy, the background flashes red as expected, but it does not disappear. At the top of the page it reports:
\nAn unidentified error has occurred.<\/p>\n
Occasionally I get little blips in the edit post page too e.g. clicking “Preview changes” doesn’t always work.<\/p>\n
I’ve tried deactivating all plugins but it made no difference.
