Definitely improves site performance.<\/p>\n<p>One issue I&#8217;ve run into is when using the Theme My Login plugin.  With this enabled, and JS minification enabled, the JS appears twice, whether in the header or the footer. <\/p>\n<p>I initially posted this in the Theme My Login forum.
