{"id":4322591,"date":"2013-11-15T19:49:22","date_gmt":"2013-11-15T19:49:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/topic\/firewall-causing-problem\/"},"modified":"2016-08-21T12:36:55","modified_gmt":"2016-08-21T12:36:55","slug":"firewall-causing-problem","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/topic\/firewall-causing-problem\/","title":{"rendered":"Firewall causing problem"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Backuper is sending empty backup files (0 byte files) to the ftp backup destination when iptables are active.<\/p>\n<p>If I kill iptables the backup is OK &#8212; turn iptables back on and the backup is back to 0 bytes.<\/p>\n<p>The funny thing is I only have INCOMING rules setup &#8212; all FORWARDED and OUTGOING traffic is automatically allowed.<\/p>\n<p>In any event, Backuper can obviously connect to the remote server because it is creating the 0 byte files&#8230;but somehow an INCOMING rules is causing it to send 0 bytes&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Any idea what I can try?
