{"id":4081850,"date":"2013-08-30T16:06:06","date_gmt":"2013-08-30T16:06:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/topic\/multisite-network-setup\/"},"modified":"2016-08-21T04:27:23","modified_gmt":"2016-08-21T04:27:23","slug":"multisite-network-setup","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/topic\/multisite-network-setup\/","title":{"rendered":"Multisite Network Setup"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have a WP installation at a .com, and another installation in a subdirectory, let&#8217;s call it ___.com\/multisite<\/p>\n<p>I want to create a network in the subdirectory installation at my domain, so that my ___.com domain remains the site it is now (a separate WP installation) and the multisite ends up in my second installation in ___.com\/multisite. <\/p>\n<p>After I enable &#8220;Network Setup&#8221; in the  ___.com\/multisite WP instance, the tool page tells me that my Server Address will be  the ___.com, not ___.com\/multisite.
