Under General Settings I have both WordPress and Site addresses set to http:\/\/mydomain.co.uk. I have told Google Webmaster tools that I prefer mydomain.co.uk to www.mydomain.co.uk, and everything seems to work fine except that I get errors from Microsoft’s IIS SEO tool claiming multiple canonical formats on some images in a particular directory – e.g.<\/p>\n
The page with URL “http:\/\/www.mydomain.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/image.jpg” can also be accessed by using URL “http:\/\/mydomain.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/image.jpg”.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
It is only doing this for images in 2012\/06, and not for all of those images, or any in other directories. And some runs it seems to vary the particular jpgs to which it objects.
