Now, every time I save my post, or update it in &#8220;visual mode&#8221; the html for my footnotes is stripped. They work or &#8216;stick&#8217; only if the post is updated in HTLM mode.  I am using the latest version of WordPress. It is the same whether I use Windows Live Writer or Scribefire.<\/p>\n<p>What gives?
