It seems that users can only subscribe to particular individual posts, on a one-by-one basis. My web site makes use of <em>categories<\/em> to group related articles together. A useful feature would be for users to be able to be notified whenever a new article (and\/or comment thereon) with a certain category is posted.<\/p>\n<p>In other words, a taxonomy based subscription system would make a useful new feature to the plug-in. Users could subscribe to new posts and\/or new comments based on their selected taxonomies (categories, tags, authors, etc) of interest.<\/p>\n<p>And how about &#8220;subscribe to all posts&#8221; and &#8220;subscribe to all comments&#8221; options?<\/p>\n<p>Please forgive me if this is beyond the scope of this plug-in.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-2190410","topic","type-topic","status-closed","hentry"],"jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topic\/2190410","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topic"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topic\/2190410\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=2190410"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
