{"id":19049447,"date":"2026-10-20T04:55:11","date_gmt":"2026-10-20T04:55:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/topic\/elementor-editor-crashes-the-whole-site-as-of-late\/"},"modified":"2026-10-20T04:55:11","modified_gmt":"2026-10-20T04:55:11","slug":"elementor-editor-crashes-the-whole-site-as-of-late","status":"publish","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/topic\/elementor-editor-crashes-the-whole-site-as-of-late\/","title":{"rendered":"Elementor editor crashes the whole site as of late"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the past few days, every time I click <strong>Edit with Elementor<\/strong> on my homepage, the entire website crashes and becomes inaccessible (<code>ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT<\/code>), usually for around an hour before recovering on its own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;ve had PHP worker exhaustion issues before, but Elementor rarely caused a complete outage. Now it happens every single time I try to edit the homepage. I haven&#8217;t tested editing other pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The hosting logs show that all available PHP workers become occupied (<code>0 idle, 5 total children<\/code>). My hosting has a limit of 6 workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Elementor gets stuck loading, sometimes offering Safe Mode, which doesn&#8217;t load either. The homepage itself works normally when I&#8217;m not editing it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;m using Elementor Free 4.3.5, WordPress 7.1.3, WooCommerce 11.2.1, PHP 8.4 and the Miini theme. I&#8217;ve also increased WordPress&#8217;s admin memory limit to 384 MB, without resolving the issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Does anyone know what could cause Elementor to suddenly exhaust server resources just by opening the homepage editor?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-19049447","topic","type-topic","status-publish","hentry"],"jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topic\/19049447","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topic"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topic\/19049447\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=19049447"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
