However, I noticed that version 1.2.2 introduced a native <strong>PVR Reviews Elementor Widget<\/strong>, which caught my interest. I wanted to explore what the new widget could offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After updating <strong>Elementor, Elementor Pro, and PVR Media Reviews<\/strong> to their latest versions, I couldn&#8217;t find the PVR Reviews Widget in either the Elementor Elements panel or Elementor&#8217;s Element Manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As with the previous video upload issue, I decided to investigate first before reporting it. Hopefully, the diagnostic information below will help make troubleshooting easier.Environment<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>PVR Media Reviews: 1.2.3<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Elementor: 4.3.5<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Elementor Pro: Updated to the latest version<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>WordPress with WooCommerce<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hosting: Hostinger<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Investigation<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I inspected the PVR 1.2.3 plugin source and confirmed that it includes both the Elementor integration class and the Reviews Widget class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I then ran a temporary, read-only PHP diagnostic to check Elementor&#8217;s initialization state, registered hooks, and widget registry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Diagnostic results:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>PVR version: 1.2.3\nElementor version: 4.3.5\nElementor loaded: YES\nElementor loaded action fired: 1\nWidget_Base available now: YES\nPVR integration class: YES\nPVR widget class: NO\nPVR bootstrap attached to elementor\/loaded: YES\nRegistration hook attached: NO\nRegistration hook fired: 1\nWidget registered in Elementor: NO\nDiagnostic error: None<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;ve attached a screenshot of these results for reference.Possible Cause<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In <code>includes\/class-pvr-elementor.php<\/code>, the integration initializes through:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>public static function init() {\n    if ( class_exists( '\\Elementor\\Widget_Base' ) ) {\n        self::bootstrap();\n        return;\n    }\n\n    add_action( 'elementor\/loaded', [ __CLASS__, 'bootstrap' ] );\n}<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <code>bootstrap()<\/code> method also returns early if <code>Elementor\\Widget_Base<\/code> is unavailable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This suggests a possible <strong>initialization timing issue<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For example, if <code>elementor\/loaded<\/code> has already fired before the callback is attached, or if <code>Widget_Base<\/code> is unavailable when <code>bootstrap()<\/code> runs, the widget registration hooks may never be added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The diagnostics confirm that the PVR registration callback is missing and the widget is not registered, although they don&#8217;t establish exactly when or why the bootstrap process was skipped.Expected Behaviour<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The PVR Reviews Widget should appear in Elementor&#8217;s Elements panel and Element Manager, allowing it to be added to a page as described in the 1.2.2 changelog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Could you please check whether the Elementor integration needs an adjustment to its initialization or widget registration lifecycle?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;m happy to provide further diagnostic information if needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thank you again for your continued development and support of the plugin!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/velarawash.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/58f3d7e4891d02e9cd1c69b7f23c553c.png?ssl=1\"><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-19044301","topic","type-topic","status-publish","hentry","topic-tag-compatibility","topic-tag-initialization"],"jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topic\/19044301","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topic"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topic\/19044301\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=19044301"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
