{"id":19040450,"date":"2026-10-09T03:59:16","date_gmt":"2026-10-09T03:59:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/topic\/not-going-to-list\/"},"modified":"2026-10-09T03:59:16","modified_gmt":"2026-10-09T03:59:16","slug":"not-going-to-list","status":"publish","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/topic\/not-going-to-list\/","title":{"rendered":"not going to list"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Subject: MailPoet &#8220;Add a subscriber to a list&#8221; creates subscriber but never adds them to the list<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hi Uncanny Automator team,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;m having an issue with the MailPoet integration and hoping you can help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SETUP<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Recipe: Gravity Forms &#8220;Form is submitted&#8221; \u2192 MailPoet &#8220;Add a subscriber to a list&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fields: Email, First name, Last name mapped from Gravity Forms tokens<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Subscriber Status: Subscribed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8220;Add the user directly to the list \u2013 Do not send confirmation email&#8221;: checked<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>List: (ID: 4) Staff It All Hire Us List<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MailPoet is using the MailPoet Sending Service<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Uncanny Automator version: [VERSION]<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MailPoet version: [VERSION]<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>WordPress version: 7.1.3<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">THE PROBLEM<br>The recipe runs every time and the subscriber is created in MailPoet with status Subscribed, but they are never added to the list. The Lists column in MailPoet stays empty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the Automator log, the recipe shows &#8220;Completed,&#8221; but the MailPoet action shows &#8220;Completed with notice&#8221; and the note says &#8220;Waiting for the action to be completed.&#8221; It never finishes. The action details show the correct email, name, status, and list ID [&#8220;4&#8221;].<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">WHAT I&#8217;VE ALREADY TRIED<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Removed and reselected the list in the action (only one list with this name exists, ID 4)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Added a second identical &#8220;Add a subscriber to a list&#8221; action after the first one: same result<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Unchecked &#8220;Add the user directly to the list&#8221;: subscriber is created as Unconfirmed, still with no list<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deactivated the MailPoet automation tied to this list: still no list attached<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Confirmed Background actions is off in Automator settings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Confirmed both plugins are up to date<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manually adding the subscriber to the list in MailPoet works fine, so the list itself is OK<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Could you help me figure out why the list assignment isn&#8217;t completing?
