So we had this whole situation a while back where a customer’s payment went through on the gateway side but WooCommerce never updated the order, just sat there on pending till it auto cancelled. We only found out because the customer emailed asking where their stuff was. Pretty embarrassing tbh and made me paranoid about how many other orders might’ve had similar issues without us noticing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Found this plugin and figured let’s just try it. Ran the first scan and honestly wasn’t ready for what it found \u2014 couple of stuck payments, one refund that didn’t match up properly, and turns out some of our order confirmation emails were failing silently too. Like the mail server was rejecting them and nobody knew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The thing I actually appreciate is it doesn’t try to be smart and auto fix your payments or anything like that. It just lays out what’s wrong in plain language, links you straight to the order, and tells you what to go verify in your gateway dashboard. Only stuff it touches directly is resending an email or fixing status when payment is clearly confirmed, and both of those get logged so nothing’s hidden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also no account signup, no api keys, doesn’t send data anywhere outside your own site. For something dealing with order and payment info that matters a lot to me, wasn’t comfortable with plugins phoning home with that kind of data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Didn’t notice any slowdown even though we’ve got a fair number of orders, and setup itself took like 10 mins max. Help section is written properly too, not just technical jargon dumped on you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It’s still pretty new so there’s not a ton of reviews out there yet but from actually running it for a bit now I can say it does exactly what it says.
