It gives us flexibility to use the Turnstile wherever in the site we’d like. We do not use the “Integration with External API” option in CF7 for Turnstile. Rather, we incorporate it into the individual forms themselves like this:

<div>[cf7_simple_turnstile]</div>

This works well for us in most cases, except… We use a Select element for the Subject and route the messages to the Selected recipient. That’s fine too, except that we want to use “Mail (2)” to send a thank you message to the person who submitted the form. In that case, we need to use the visitor’s email address in the “To” field of Mail (2):

[your-first-name] [your-last-name] <[your-email]>

That generates the “1 configuration error detected” notification.

Is this because the form does not recognize the
[cf7_simple_turnstile]
shortcode, where it would otherwise recognize a
[turnstile]
shortcode?

Can we ignore the notification in this case? Can the form be modified via a function to recognize the
[cf7_simple_turnstile]
shortcode and not throw that notification?

Any other suggestions?
