{"id":19004137,"date":"2026-08-27T04:30:37","date_gmt":"2026-08-27T04:30:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/topic\/version-1-8-44-gutenberg-block-does-not-display\/"},"modified":"2026-08-27T04:30:37","modified_gmt":"2026-08-27T04:30:37","slug":"version-1-8-44-gutenberg-block-does-not-display","status":"publish","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/topic\/version-1-8-44-gutenberg-block-does-not-display\/","title":{"rendered":"Version 1.8.44 gutenberg block does not display"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have a similar problem (visually anyway) as per <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/users\/arswebdesign\/\">arswebdesign<\/a> but no security error.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When I use the gutenberg photo gallery block to insert a gallery on a new (or any) page then all I see is a blue boredered retangular box with a blue &#8220;insert into post&#8221; button about 20% of the along the top boundary of the blue box. None of the options to configure the gallery are visible. So there is obviously a conflict somewhere which I dont have the skill set to describe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">also when I edit a previously configured photo gallery block in a page that displays the gallery correct;y, the blue &#8216;edit&#8217; button does not work either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have been able to use WP classic page editor to create a shortcode and then insert that into a gutenberg shortcode block. Not a real or long term solution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I use weaver xtreme as a WP theme and have no problems with any other plugins.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-19004137","topic","type-topic","status-publish","hentry"],"jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topic\/19004137","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topic"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topic\/19004137\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=19004137"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
