Relevanssi is using about 550MB of my database. I understand that it needs room for it&#8217;s index.<br \/><br \/>The problem is that my host has a hard limit of 1GB MySQL databases. And my site is now at 970MB even after optimisation work.<br \/><br \/>I asked my web host about raising our 1GB limit. They will not do that. They only offered an expensive cloud hosting option. <br \/><br \/>I was wondering if it could be possible to connect Relevanssi to a different MYSQL database just for Relevanssi? I am allowed unlimited 1 GB databases with my host. So we could keep all the WordPress stuff on the original db, and use a new one for the Relevanssi plugin, giving us enough room to last us another few years. <br \/><br \/>I&#8217;ve seen your warnings about the amount of storage required to run Relevanssi, so this must be an issue for others as well.
