After I configured WP Mail SMTP at the same time everything was fine I got an email in my mailbox. But after 6 to 8 Hrs when I opened my website this was redirected to the https:\/\/scalex.net.in\/wp-admin\/setup-config.php page. This happened twice in the last 36 Hrs. my email ID are nilamadhabmishra69@gmail.com and support@scalex.net.in<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Below is the incident flow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">WordPress Website Issue Summary<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Website:<\/strong> <code>https:\/\/scalex.net.in\/<\/code> Problem<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our WordPress website is intermittently redirecting to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><code>https:\/\/scalex.net.in\/wp-admin\/setup-config.php<\/code><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Instead of loading the normal website or WordPress admin login.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When this happens, WordPress displays the <strong>\u201cSelect a default language\u201d<\/strong> installation screen, as if WordPress is being installed for the first time. Timeline<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>The website was working normally.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Yesterday morning, we configured the <strong>SMTP settings<\/strong> for the website.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The SMTP configuration was tested.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Several hours later, the website started redirecting to <code>\/wp-admin\/setup-config.php<\/code>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We were able to recover\/access the site previously.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We then worked on configuring a second <strong>Popup Maker popup<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No other major website changes were intentionally made.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Today, the <strong>same <code>\/wp-admin\/setup-config.php<\/code> problem appeared again<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This makes us concerned that something is periodically affecting WordPress configuration or database connectivity.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SMTP \/ Email Findings<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We initially suspected the SMTP configuration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, Google DMARC reports received after the SMTP configuration show:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>SPF: PASS<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>DKIM: PASS<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>DKIM selector: <code>zoho<\/code><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Domain: <code>scalex.net.in<\/code><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Google DMARC policy action: <code>none<\/code><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have received multiple DMARC aggregate reports, and the authentication results are passing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Therefore, <strong>SMTP is currently not proven to be the cause<\/strong>. Current Plugins \/ Environment<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The website uses:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>WordPress<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Elementor<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Elementor-related plugins<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Popup Maker<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MetForm<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>WPForms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>WP Mail SMTP<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ElementsKit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>UAE \/ Ultimate Addons for Elementor<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hello theme<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We recently configured <strong>WP Mail SMTP<\/strong> for Zoho Mail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We also recently edited a <strong>Popup Maker popup<\/strong> containing a MetForm form.
