{"id":18909440,"date":"2026-05-15T20:15:47","date_gmt":"2026-05-15T20:15:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/topic\/thumbnail-path-cache-issue\/"},"modified":"2026-05-15T20:15:47","modified_gmt":"2026-05-15T20:15:47","slug":"thumbnail-path-cache-issue","status":"publish","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/topic\/thumbnail-path-cache-issue\/","title":{"rendered":"Thumbnail path cache issue?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Great plugin overall \ud83d\ude42<br \/>That said, I bumped into a bit of a bug and I thought I would let you folks know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Steps to replicate:<br \/>1) Set up a WPML website (at least 2 languages)<br \/>2) Create a few posts with featured images<br \/>3) Use the Flexi Post Grid plugin on the front page<br \/>4) Update the featured image on one of the posts<br \/>5) Notice how the path to the flexi post grid thumbnail doesn&#8217;t get updated for that post in the main language<br \/>6) Notice how the pat to the flexi post grid thumbnail gets updated in the secondary language<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It looks like there is a path caching issue in that context. Perhaps adding a &#8220;refresh thumbnail&#8221; button would fix such problems?
