{"id":18824357,"date":"2026-02-17T10:07:14","date_gmt":"2026-02-17T10:07:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/topic\/happy-addons-nav-menu-currently-unusable-due-to-several-bugs\/"},"modified":"2026-02-17T10:07:14","modified_gmt":"2026-02-17T10:07:14","slug":"happy-addons-nav-menu-currently-unusable-due-to-several-bugs","status":"publish","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/topic\/happy-addons-nav-menu-currently-unusable-due-to-several-bugs\/","title":{"rendered":"Happy Addons nav menu currently unusable due to several bugs"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hi there, we&#8217;ve noticed several issues with the Happy Addons &#8220;Nav Menu&#8221; that are preventing us from using it over the default Elementor nav menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here&#8217;s a bare-minimum reproducible example page that showcases the three issues we&#8217;ve found:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">https:\/\/happymenu.debgr.com\/<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The issues are listed on that page but we&#8217;ll post them here as well for search\/archival purposes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Issue #1: Icon loading issue<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The dropdown menu items are failing to load their \u201cfa-angle-down\u201d icons. They load fine in the Elementor editor but not on the frontend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Issue #2: Inconsistent CSS media queries<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When the browser width is between 768px and 782px, the menu turns into a mobile hamburger menu, but is still loading the desktop menu\u2019s CSS, causing it to appear giant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Issue #3: Mobile menu items repeatedly opening and closing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you try to expand a menu item in the mobile menu (in other words, click the arrow next to \u201cLink 2\u201d), the menu will repeatedly expand and collapse.
