I like that I can browse my Dropbox folders inside WordPress and use embeds\/galleries. Auto-sync also keeps the Dropbox listing up to date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, for performance reasons I need to <strong>host key assets locally<\/strong> (hero images, icons, logos) under <code>\/wp-content\/uploads\/<\/code>. I expected \u201cMedia Library support\u201d and the wording <em>\u201cSelect a Specific Folder To Auto Synchronization\u201d<\/em> to mean I could <strong>mirror\/import selected folders into the WordPress Media Library as local files<\/strong>. In practice, the files <strong>remain remote<\/strong> and are served from <code>*.dropboxusercontent.com<\/code>, and there is <strong>no \u201cImport to Media Library \/ Make local copy\u201d<\/strong> option. Support confirmed that bulk import to the Media Library isn\u2019t currently possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For my use case that\u2019s a deal-breaker, and it wasn\u2019t obvious before purchase that local copies aren\u2019t supported. Please consider:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>A per-folder <strong>\u201cMirror to uploads (local copy)\u201d<\/strong> mode with a schedule\/cron<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A clear note in the docs\/UI that Auto Sync updates the <strong>listing only<\/strong>, not files on the server<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hooks\/CLI to import selected Dropbox files as Media Library attachments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thanks for the quick support replies.
