{"id":18572743,"date":"2025-07-27T09:48:02","date_gmt":"2025-07-27T09:48:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/topic\/missing-field-from-google-merchants-why-dont-recopy-from-the-product\/"},"modified":"2025-07-27T09:48:02","modified_gmt":"2025-07-27T09:48:02","slug":"missing-field-from-google-merchants-why-dont-recopy-from-the-product","status":"publish","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/topic\/missing-field-from-google-merchants-why-dont-recopy-from-the-product\/","title":{"rendered":"Missing field from Google Merchants: why don&#8217;t recopy from the product?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hello Support Team,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;m using WordPress 6.8.2 + WooCommerce 10.0.4 + <strong>Google for WooCommerce<\/strong> <strong>3.2.0<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From Google Merchants, I have 100% of my products which it missed some fields as &#8220;color&#8221;, &#8220;size&#8221;, &#8220;age&#8221;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i.imgur.com\/LZDlflT.png?ssl=1\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s in French but it&#8217;s understable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the Woocommerce products, this field aren&#8217;t empty:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i.imgur.com\/vRMpczM.png?ssl=1\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But when I scrolled down, I can see the missing fields:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i.imgur.com\/LVrOEsA.png?ssl=1\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Why the plugin didn&#8217;t copy all the configured field from the &#8220;main&#8221; woocommerce standard products into the fields inside &#8220;Google for Woocommerce&#8221;?<br \/>Or maybe I missed something.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another question: Merchants Google said I don&#8217;t have to put any smiley inside the description.<br \/>Is exist an option when the plugin could autoremove the smiley when the &#8220;description&#8221; is get from Woocommerce to Merchants Google?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thanks for your help!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have thinking about a workaround which could duplicate the missing fields \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-18572743","topic","type-topic","status-publish","hentry","topic-tag-missing-field"],"jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topic\/18572743","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topic"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topic\/18572743\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=18572743"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
