However, an account with their e-mail is created and I can see that in the back end &#8211; WordPress dashboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have deactivated all plugins except Woocommerce, Elementor and Elementor Pro.  Since the site is still under development, I am not using any cache plugins.  I&#8217;ve tried to login via incognito windows all to no avail.  However, when I try to register as a customer via WordPress&#8217; UI, I don&#8217;t encounter any issues.  I am able to register a new user without a problem.  However, when a user registers via WordPress UI, they are registered as a &#8220;subscriber&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Any user registered via Woocommerce is registered as a &#8220;customer&#8221;, which is prefered.  As mentioned earlier, all users who registered via Woocommerce, even though they get an error message, they are registered as &#8220;customers&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Can anyone help me identify the problem?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-18170452","topic","type-topic","status-publish","hentry","topic-tag-critical-error","topic-tag-new-user-registration"],"jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topic\/18170452","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topic"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topic\/18170452\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=18170452"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
