We are using the default WooCommerce stock settings.<br \/><br \/>In some instances an order will show the product variation details and sku in the details and remove the stock from the variation product. <br \/><br \/>In other instances the order will show the product parent sku and will not remove the stock from the variation that was order.<br \/><br \/>In some instances this happens with all products in the order, in other instances it is only some of the products in the order.<br \/><br \/>The issue seems fairly random and doesn&#8217;t happen with every order or every product. All products are set up the same way and when inspecting the products there doesn&#8217;t appear to be a difference in how they were set up.<br \/><br \/>The main issue is that most of the products have limited stock and aren&#8217;t products that can be easily bought. As such the product stock is important and we don&#8217;t allow back orders. This means, if people order an out of stock product, or more of a product we have stock of, we need to process refunds. This obviously annoys our customers.<br \/><br \/>Here is an example in the same order &#8211; see the details and the notes.<br \/>There were multiple variable products ordered but only two of them had stock reduced.<br \/><br \/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/3e2b2fdb-67cb-4873-9eca-2d70597fa95f\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br \/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/63d66ddf-3dc7-46a3-8148-2f2fd393e263\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br \/><br \/>Here is an example set up of a variable product. The parent SKU is used to add the products via an import with WP All Import.<br \/><br \/>Screenshots of the top inventory, attributes and variation settings.
