{"id":17201287,"date":"2023-11-14T16:10:16","date_gmt":"2023-11-14T16:10:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/topic\/css-invalid-error\/"},"modified":"2023-11-14T16:10:16","modified_gmt":"2023-11-14T16:10:16","slug":"css-invalid-error","status":"publish","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/topic\/css-invalid-error\/","title":{"rendered":"css invalid error"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ampwp-62587f18-4968-592b-b29e-56a92f7d22cc<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;ve been using theme pixwell-ruby in transitional mode for a couple of years now, further to that the developers of the theme haven&#8217;t updated since July (worrying in ways, but handy for troubleshooting right now because we know nothing has changed in the core of their theme. It is supported in transitional mode as the AMP plugin says &#8220;The theme supported and activated AMP in the Transitional mode.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Last week AMP plugin got an update, and since then there have been validation errors regarding css size and location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The two main errors seem to relate to a failed fetch of main.css and that it is too large. Or does it fail to generate the amp css because it&#8217;s too large and then it fails to fetch?  And the most obvious visual error, when pages do load, is that the featured image doesn&#8217;t load on \/?amp but does on non-amp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let me know what extra details I can give to troubleshoot this, I&#8217;m not overly technical but I&#8217;m pretty certain from the previous topics created since the last update that the problem is not with the theme but is with the AMP plugin\/recent changes to validation\/new rules\/new features causing issues. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-17201287","topic","type-topic","status-publish","hentry","topic-tag-css","topic-tag-errors","topic-tag-validation"],"jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topic\/17201287","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topic"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topic\/17201287\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=17201287"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
