{"id":16733849,"date":"2023-05-12T20:16:18","date_gmt":"2023-05-12T20:16:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/topic\/additional-css-editor-issues\/"},"modified":"2023-05-12T20:16:18","modified_gmt":"2023-05-12T20:16:18","slug":"additional-css-editor-issues","status":"publish","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/topic\/additional-css-editor-issues\/","title":{"rendered":"Additional CSS Editor Issues"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In previous themes, when using the old appearance:customize (via customize.php) you get an editor that is color coded and notes errors\/issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Twenty Twenty Three, this editor has no color coding, nesting ability, line numbers, or error checking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is really stripped down, in a bad way. If there is *any* issue, a missed bracket or semi-colon, styling of course breaks, and you&#8217;ve got to copy your work to another editor to see where the issue might be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I can reach the good editor if I force it into my admin menu through functions.php &#8211; but I am wondering, why isn&#8217;t this theme using the well-developed editor WordPress has had for a long time?
